Attendance policy for training programs

The mechanism for attending training programs follows the Gulf Energies Training policy:

1- Virtual attendance is considered equivalent to regular attendance, To ensure this, the following procedures are followed:

– The minimum requirement for synchronous attendance hours is no less than (25%) when providing training in the asynchronous electronic format or blended learning for programs that last more than one month.

  • The appropriate time is chosen for the trainees to ensure their simultaneous attendance and interaction with the training program.
  • The training platform link is provided to all trainees registered for the training course with sufficient time.

2- The number allowed in synchronous virtual classrooms for training in qualification and development courses is as follows:
– 25 trainees, An increase in the number of trainees of up to 25% is permitted in the synchronous virtual classroom based on:

  • Course type
  • The quality of activities and interaction.
  • The extent of the trainer’s experience in delivering e-training.

– When the number of participants in the program is between 26 and 50, an assistant trainer must be added to the main trainer. For numbers exceeding 50 trainees, one assistant to the main trainer is counted for every 50 trainees. The calculation of the increase percentage (25%) is dropped after the number of trainees exceeds 50 trainees in a single training program.
